Their first phone. A light, not a cage.

LU6OLE lets you decide, together, what they can open, when, who can call them and what gets sent to them. They can see everything you’ve set. And nothing they read, write or watch ever leaves the phone*.

The LU6OLE firefly fairy: a little girl with translucent wings, her dress glowing like a lantern, lighting the way through the night

Three protections that free parental controls don’t offer.

Free parental controls count minutes. LU6OLE protects against what really worries you: what they open, who talks to them, what gets sent to them — and when they’re asleep, they’re really asleep.

Everywhere, not just in Chrome

A link opened inside TikTok, WhatsApp or Snapchat goes through that app’s built-in browser, out of reach of Chrome’s filter. LU6OLE’s filter works at the phone level: adult content, gambling and phishing sites are blocked in every app.

Details
  • Sites that are off-limits to minors are blocked by default; only a parent can turn the filter off, from their page
  • Safe search enforced on Google, YouTube and Bing
  • With no network, the settings hold: the phone doesn’t unlock
  • No ads are blocked: this is not an ad blocker

Only their own people can call

You build the list: Dad, Mom, Grandma, school. Other numbers don’t ring. Emergency numbers always go through.

Details
  • A blocked call shows up on your phone and on theirs
  • A booby-trapped link received by text won’t open
  • You can change the list from your phone in a minute

What they open, decided together

An app you haven’t allowed closes as soon as they open it, and their LU6OLE screen shows them what’s allowed. A new app arrives blocked.

Details
  • They ask for an app or a new install; you get notified and you answer
  • Bedtime, school days and a daily screen time limit — see below
  • Time spent today in each app, on your page and on their screen
  • Camera and microphone, app by app: TikTok for watching, not for filming
  • Optionally, see where they are when you ask — they’re told every time
  • SOSBY, if installed, is never blocked: the SOS button always works
  • If protection stops on their phone, your page says so in red, with what to do about it

When the phone sleeps, it really sleeps.

You set bedtime, school days and a daily screen time limit. Once the limit is reached, the screen locks — not a banner you can close, a phone that’s shut. It only does three things:

Rings for their own people

Dad, Mom, Grandma: approved numbers ring the phone, even at night. No one else.

Calls their people, and emergency services

They can always call the list and the emergency numbers. Nothing else can be dialed.

SOSBY works

If it’s installed, the SOS button stays right there, and the alert goes out. A sleeping phone is never a silent phone.

“Five more minutes?”

They can ask from the lock screen, once. You say yes or no from your phone, and theirs shows the answer. In the evening, that’s often all it takes to avoid an argument. And even if they don’t ask, you can give them extra time — fifteen minutes to two hours, for today — just like with Family Link.

They know it’s there. That’s why they accept it.

A hidden control gets bypassed or resented. LU6OLE is visible: an icon, a permanent notification, and a screen they can open whenever they like to read what you’ve set, and why. You see what was blocked and how long they spent today in each app — the same figure they read on their screen. Nothing more: not what they did there, not the days before.

What the child sees

What the parent sees

What you’ll never see.

This isn’t a technical limit, it’s a promise written into the app — and checked by a test that fails if it’s broken.

No message content

No text message and no conversation is read or transmitted — the app doesn’t even have permission to read them. A booby-trapped link, on the other hand, won’t open.

No history

The sites they’ve opened aren’t recorded anywhere. You only see a blocked site, and why.

No tracking their every move

If you turn it on, you can see where they are when you ask, for thirty minutes at most — and they see it on their phone. Never where they were: no trip is kept.

No screenshots, no microphone, no camera

Never. Not now, and not in a future version: that’s what separates parental controls from spyware.

They ask, you answer.

An explained refusal isn’t a punishment. It’s the difference between a child who negotiates and a child who works around the rules.

They ask, from their screen

To open a blocked app, get more time, or install a new app. In one tap, without having to come and ask you out loud.

Can I have Roblox?

You’re notified, wherever you are

A notification arrives on your phone, Android or iPhone: the parent screen is a web page, on your phone or your computer, which you can also add to your home screen like an app. Up to four parents can receive it and respond — whoever answers first decides.

You answer, and they read why

Yes, or no with a reason. It appears on their screen, in kid-friendly words, and stays readable.

No: this game talks with strangers. Let’s talk about it again when you’re 10.

Their content never leaves the phone*

No account for them. For you, the one you already have. You open your page with your Google or Apple account, on your phone or your computer, with no extra password. The first time, a six-digit code shown on their phone links it to your account. We hold no email address, no date of birth and no profile for them: there’s nothing to create, so nothing to leak.

* What goes up to your page, and nothing else: your settings, the list of their apps (so you can choose), the state of the protection (so we can warn you if it stops), the time spent today in each app — which they see too —, their requests, and, if you’ve turned on the option, their location when you ask for it, for thirty minutes at most, with a message on their phone. Not messages, not sites visited, not photos, not trips, not past days.

No ads, no analytics, no reselling. The site filter is a local VPN: it only sees site names, never their content, and asks Cloudflare for Families, which blocks adult sites and doesn’t keep the query — nothing goes through our servers. It’s all detailed in the privacy policy.

What LU6OLE doesn’t do.

We’d rather tell you than let you believe otherwise.

Spy on them in secret

No silent location tracking: every time a parent looks at where they are, their phone tells them. For a real emergency, there’s SOSBY, which LU6OLE never blocks.

Make the phone tamper-proof

A determined teenager will eventually get around a control installed like an ordinary app. LU6OLE is designed for ages 6 to 15: it slows things down, it warns the parent when its protection stops, and it says so openly.

Keep them under control after 15

In the month they turn 15, LU6OLE stops blocking anything and can be uninstalled. Location, if you had turned it on, only works with their consent. You’re told about it on your page.

Read their messages

No app should, and LU6OLE never will. It protects the click, not the conversation.

Old phones

Android 10 or later is required: before that, a phone can’t reject a call before it rings. An older hand-me-down phone is outside what the product supports.

Fifteen days to try it. Then a single purchase, for the whole family.

All protections, free, for fifteen days. No credit card asked for, no password to create.

After that, a one-time purchase, up to three children’s phones, no subscription. Once the trial ends, the phone doesn’t quietly unlock: the app tells you, and tells them.
